Golden Grove Planned Development

Golden Grove is an approved Planned Development (PD) located off of New Road and Old Jacksonboro Road in Ravenel.  The PD was heard at Public Hearings on 6/29/21 before the Planning & Zoning Commission and before the Council on 7/6/21 and gained final approval and annexation on 7/27/21.

The development consists of no more than 381 dwelling units on about 120 acres of residential property and includes a 51 acre commercial area with a resource extraction area of 426 acres; for a total of about 598 acres.  This property was previously a part of the Spring Grove County Planned Development that would have allowed 1,400 dwelling units.

Phases 1 & 2 have gained Site Plan approval from the Planning & Zoning Commission and are in process.
