The Preserve at Ravenel is a planned development and annexation located on Davison Road.  The project is located on Parcels #242-00-00-014 (635 acres), #301-00-00-019 (88 acres) and #301-00-00-018 (29 acres) in Charleston County.  The developer (Davison Investors, LLC) is projecting 350 dwelling units to be located on the approximately 755 acre site along with 131 acres preserved as wetlands and 145 acres dedicated to green space and parks.  The development will also include 25 acres of commercial and 2 acres of municipal uses.

Two public hearings were held on the project.  One hearing was held before the Planning & Zoning Commission on February 23, 2023 and one before the Town Council on February 28, 2023.  The Town Council passed ordinances 03-23 (Annexation) and 04-23 (Agreement) that gained final approval on March 28, 2023.
